Meet Our Staff

Leathers & Associates (L&A) brings extensive experience and expertise to the drawing board. Since 1971 we’ve completed more than 3,200 playgrounds in all 50 states and seven other countries. Over the years the firm has received numerous design awards and been featured in major publications. You may recall our involvement in creating playgrounds that were featured on Sesame Street and Mister Roger’s Neighborhood.

Our firm is a small family business with a diverse group of employees. The L&A team’s experience and abilities allow us to create the very best custom-designed play spaces for clients. All L&A designers and construction consultants are Certified Playground Safety Instructors through the National Recreation & Parks Association. The degrees held by our employees include business administration, education, construction technology and design. And while our backgrounds and experience are diverse, we all share a common love of design, volunteerism, community building, and most importantly, PLAY!
